messaging program in connection with the Canoe Journey to Saxman 2027 event.

We collect the mobile phone number you provide — on our volunteer sign-up

form, or when you subscribe by texting a keyword or scanning a QR code — along

with your consent to receive text messages related to the Canoe Journey to

Saxman 2027 event.

We use your phone number only to send text messages related to the event,

including: (1) a one-time verification code confirming your number at sign-up;

(2) event logistics and coordination notices for volunteers and committee

members; and (3) event updates and safety alerts for participants who

subscribe.

We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number with third parties for their

marketing. No mobile information — including text-messaging opt-in data and

consent — will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or

promotional purposes, or for any other purpose. Information may be shared only

with subcontractors that support our messaging service (such as our SMS

provider) solely to deliver these messages. Text-messaging originator opt-in

data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

4. Opting Out and Getting Help

You can cancel text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. For

assistance, reply HELP or contact us at the email below. Consent to receive

text messages is not a condition of any purchase, registration, or service.

5. Message Frequency and Rates

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your

mobile carrier and plan.
